For most of my life, wellness wasn't just something I practiced, it was something I lived and breathed.

At first, it was subtle. A word I couldn’t recall, a thought that disappeared mid-sentence…

Then came the bigger shifts – standing in the grocery store unsure why I was there, struggling to follow conversations, waking up tired after a full night’s sleep.

By 47, I felt like I was losing my edge – in meetings, in relationships, in my own mind.

It was scary. And it wasn’t just brain fog.

My metabolism had stalled. My nervous system was stuck in high alert. I was tired, wired, and frustrated that all my usual tools weren’t working anymore.

Even wine went from a pleasure to a lifeline, just to dull the noise inside.

And behind it all was a deeper fear: I carry the APOE4 gene, a known risk factor for Alzheimer’s. The thought that my future could disappear overnight shook me.

Then one day, I left the stove on.

And then again. 

And again.

Three times in one week.

And that’s when I knew something had to change.

Early mornings at the gym, balanced meals, a steady rhythm of movement and mindfulness – it all came naturally. And I genuinely loved learning about the body and how to care for it.

I built a career in corporate wellness, taught yoga, and earned certifications in personal training, nutrition, and corrective exercise. People looked to me for guidance, and I took pride in walking my talk.

I believed that if I did all the “right” things, I’d age well, stay strong, and live a long, vibrant life.

And for a while, that plan worked.

Until it didn’t.

I dove deep into the research – and what I uncovered changed everything.

I became a National Board-Certified Health Coach, trained in the Bredesen Protocol™ for Alzheimer’s prevention, and earned certifications in brain health, functional aging, trauma-informed yoga, and more.

But the real shift came when I stopped treating my symptoms like isolated problems and started seeing them as part of a bigger picture.

I realized this wasn’t about spot-treating the issues – it was about restoring balance through holistic care.

I started small: real food, restorative movement, better sleep hygiene, and stress management. Gradually, I replaced that nightly wine with practices that nourished me instead of numbing me.

Week by week, the fog lifted, my thoughts sharpened, my energy returned, sleep became restful again, and the constant hum of anxiety quieted down.

Six months later, I felt like myself again – only clearer, stronger, and more resilient than I had been in years.

That’s how the BrainGrace™ Method was born: a science-backed, holistic approach that integrates movement, nutrition, sleep, hormonal balance, stress mastery, and cognitive care.

Today, I help other midlife women reclaim that same sense of strength, clarity, and vitality, so they can keep doing what they love.
